First enabled on the company’s Hawaiian Airlines operations, Cloud Map is now live on Alaska Airlines’ mainline aircraft as well as the company’s regional fleet, enabling passengers to experience the joy of live flight tracking, travel tips and destination discovery using their own mobile devices.

Cloud Map brings the full FlightPath3D suite of maps, destination content, and airline-powered marketing to the aircraft via Starlink’s low-latency, high-speed internet link, and without on-board server infrastructure. This reduces the cost of deployment and the required timeline for rollout, proven as the company delivered the integration for Alaska Airlines’ mainline fleet ahead of schedule.
